i can confirm that the multi region hack works on this mustek r400a plus. i have a region 2 version bought in germany. no disk in tray. switch on the machine switch from record to dvd play mode using the dvd/rec button. press the return button on remote press the info button on remote press 8880 on remote you should get a message saying "region 0 set" in the top left corner if you did it correctly. i tried a region 1 disk before i did this and it didn't play. now with this hack it does play. best of luck dave. | |||
