Everything on the remote :

1. Open/close
2. Clear
3. Type 1 3 6 9
4. Enter 0 for All region, 1 for Region 1, ...

That's it. Tested and working.

- Power on the dvd-player.
- Press "Open/close".(don't close after!!)
- Press "1" "3" "6" "9" and the region of your choice "0" for free, "1" for Region1 etc...

Normally, nothing appear on screen or the player's LCD screen, so don't panic!

- Press "Power/standby" to validate region change.
- Power on the dvd-player and enjoy :)

Tested and 100% working method on french region 2 Memorex mvd2020 dvd player.

The above hack for MVD-2020 does not work on the Memorex MVD2016BLK I
purchased from Target in 12/2009. When used, the hack will cause all video to
come through in black and white, but will reject DVDs from other regions.
This model does, however, play PAL DVDs pretty well, if you don't mind the
black and white images.

Usually the black and white problem is because you don't have the output set to
an NTSC TV. Try that and see how it works!
