To convert this player to Multi-Region 1. Press the Menu button on your remote control 2. Press the 1 button on your remote control 3. Press the 6 button on your remote control 4. Press the 7 button on your remote control 5. Press 1 for Region 1, 2 for Region 2, and so on, or alternatively Mute button on your remote control for All Regions To convert this player for VCD playback 1. Press the Open button on your remote control to open the drive tray 2. Place an audio CD in the drive tray 3. Press the Open button on your remote control to close the drive tray 4. Press the Menu button on your remote control 5. Press the 1 button on your remote control 6. Press the Index (1-All) button on your remote control 7. Press the Open button on your remote control 8. although the hacks work this player is very fussy with the cds that it will read. i have never found any compatable cdr's with this player but i have found that imation cd-rws work everytime. u can buy these quite cheaply from places like pc world. hope this helps | |||

The one above may work but this is quicker: 1. Make sure there is nothing in cd drawer and turn on 2. Press menu 3. Press 9 4. Press open/close 5. Press 5 6. Then enter the number of the region u want to play. or press mute to allow ur player to play them all. If ya do this then ya dnt have to do this eva again | |||

VCD enable hack: This worked on my Goodmans DVD3000, which is exactly the same as the Matsui110. First insert a music CD. Press MENU, 5, EJECT. Tray stays closed. Press 1, INDEX MENU (bottom of remote, 2nd from right). A menu appears. Press 1 to enable VCD. | |||
