Press Open. Ensure tray is open. Press SETUP Select 'Preferences' Go to the Country Code. Type 1379. It will prompt you for region code. Use arrows to select 'O'. Press OK. Press Setup. You're good to go! Yaaay! | |||

Unit manufactured Nov 2004 with MediaTek 1389 chip is not region hackable via remote. You can access the region menu but you cannot change it. SETUP 1 3 8 9 Version Menu will appear Maybe this info is of some use if they have a demo. Note the manufacture date! Older 3100s may have older chips (eg 1379) and could be remote hackable as describe in other posts. | |||
