Matt - RE: loosing your original remote: Try an older (I mean older) all in one & look for a code there. I found that the Radio Shack universal 5 in 1 model # 15-2103 uses DVD code 0675. (Magnavox) But some of the buttons are changed. Also, try local pawn shops. They always have left over remotes. I found one there. ‘Ya just never know. Does any have the codes for the MSD124? I want to watch some of my German region 2 DVD's on my dvd player instead of my dvd computer. I have children's region 2 and I'd like to have my kids watch them in the living room instead of having them in my office most of the time. Thanks | |||

That model of dvd player (MSD124) is actually made by Sylvania, I know it says Magnavox on the player but if you call the 800 number on the machine, sylvania answers the phone. The code that worked for my universal remote was a sylvania code 0447. | |||
