	Magnavox MDV-435 Converting this player to Multi-Region: 1. Power the player on. 2. Press Open/Close to open the player's tray. 3. Press 1, 1, 1, 1 on the remote. 4. Press 0 for region free. Note: press the keys slowly in step 3 to stop the tray closing/opening. Disable Macrovision: 1. Turn the player on. 2. Press Menu on the remote control. 3. Go to Default and select Reset. 4. Do this every time the player is switched to re-disable.

	To convert the set to multiregion, pls follow this instruction: 1) Open Tray (DVD Player) 2) Press '7777' It's ready.

	I tried Busta's hack but it didn't work with my unit but maybe it will work with yours. Next I tried Pepe_Arg's hack and it worked ok but with some extra moves required. I opened the tray. I pressed the first 7 "invalid entry" message appeared. I waited till it went away and pressed the next 7. After entering 7777 (after invalid entry message went off for each 7 entered) I got a menu. I used the up-arrow and down-arrows to select region. The right-arrow to jump into the region list. The up-arrow to highlight region 0. The left-arrow to exit the region sub menu Then I pressed open/close to shut the tray and exit. Powered off, powered on. It worked very well. Thanks Pepe_arg :-)

	Neither of these work with my player. The 1,1,1,1 code seems ubiquitous across the net, but the 7,7,7,7 code doesn't work either. My player doesn't give ANY response to each number entry, and has no screen display at all. Following the directions blind has no effect.
