I tried the 9-9-9-9 hack (mentioned on this forum for similar Magnavox players), and it seems to have worked on my Magnavox 422. After entering the numbers, my player briefly displayed a message that said "REGION: 0", but I don't have a DVD from another region to test. To set to region zero (all regions): 1) Turn on tv and dvd player 2) With tray open and no disc in it, press remote control buttons 9, 9, 9, 9, 0. 3) If nothing happens, repeat more slowly. To set your player back to the original region, just do 9, 9, 9, 9, and then the number for your region (1 for US and Canada, 2 for UK, etc) Good luck! | |||
