	Ok I got the first part done for the Magnavox mdv3000/f7, to get to the "secret menu" on your remote press 1 2 3 4 and Display. This will bring up the menu with your Model, Version and Region, you can also do an EEPROM Clear from here. Have fun and if you can go futher than i did so far, let us know.

	This is in reponse to the previous hack, after putting in 1 2 3 4 and pressing display on the remote, I played around with it and pressed "clear" it came up EEPROM CLEAR: flashed ERASE and then said OK. I'm not sure if it worked or not, as I am new to this and do not have anything but region 1 DVDs. I am going to try to find another region dvd to play to see if it worked.

	Magnovax MDV3000 , MVD2015/2016 dvd player hack 1. Turn ON the player 2. Press setup 3. Press 9999 4. You will see number 1 on the top. This is region code. Use > arrows and change the codes. Use 255 for all. I can play DVDs from India as well as DVDs from USA.

	The hack posted by Yogesh didnt work on my region 1 MDV3000 bought last night from Wal Mart. Did I miss something?

	This is in response to the 4 comments above. The hacks do not work for my Magnavox MDV3000/f7. It is a region 1 player and the 1st hack performs exactly as stated, but does not allow the region 2 DVD to play. The second hack involving 9999 does not come close to working as stated even with all the variations I tried. I hope someone has successfully been able to hack the region setting on a Magnavox MDV3000/f7.
