Not sure if these qualify as hacks, but they're undcocumented codes (except for the parental lock reset which can be found in the Problems section of the manual): On menu screen (no disc in tray), press: - 16719, as mentioned by LoBA above: Change region code, 0 is region free - 76019: Display firmware information, press Exit to exit - 76414: TST 00000001, Unknown, tray ejects and player stops responding, if a disc is loaded tray remains closed and LCD panel will read "tESt 1" (if you press Power, player will turn off in a few seconds and go back to normal) - 76415: TST 00000002, Unknown, LCD panel switches to "LOAd" mode and player stops responding, if a disc is loaded LCD panel will read "tESt 2" (if you press Power, player will turn off in a few seconds and go back to normal) - 76416: Test front panel buttons, LCD panel reads FPXXXX where XXXX is the shorthand code for the last front panel button pressed (press Power to turn player off and go back to normal) - 76418: Reset parental lock PIN - 76419: Reset all player settings | |||
