Luxor LUXDVP1005 Region Fix Dixons sells the same DVD player under the name Ferguson LDVD300. The Ferguson LDVD300 is in fact actually a Mintek MDP-1010. Certain button presses are timed and must be done quickly. Turn on the DVD Player Open the disc door Press the setup key on the remote control Highlight the preference menu and enter the menu Type in 2-5-5-1-3-5 at a decent pace Quickly press the navigaton keys Left then Down The region code menu should appear now, if not, turn off the power and start over Type in the region setting you would like, for region free, choose 0 by pressing the key labelled "10/0" directly beneath the 7 key.
