1. Press the Open button on the remote control 2. Press the Setup button on the remote control 3. Press the Shufflebutton on your remote control 4. Press the Step button on your remote control 5. Press the Nextbutton on your remote control A secret menu will appear, which you can scroll down until the words DEBUG ITEM appears, where the current Region status is displayed. To Change Region setting of player REGION FREE - Press buttons Open, Setup, 94010, Step, Shuffle, Next on the remote control. REGION 1 - Press buttons Open, Setup, 14010, Step, Shuffle, Next on the remote control. REGION 2- Press buttons Open, Setup, 24010, Step, Shuffle, Next on the remote control. REGION 3- Press buttons Open, Setup, 34010, Step, Shuffle, Next on the remote control. REGION 4- Press buttons Open, Setup, 44010, Step, Shuffle, Next on the remote control. To anyone interested, here is the macrovision crack for the Logix DVD3000 player. This feature is built in as standard by the manufacturer, but for obvious reasons, they don't advertise it. This feature is only available on Firmware versions V1.80, V2.04s, V2.08, V2.33ScnFV. The last one is the version on my player, using the ADV7172 chipset ONLY. First check your firmware version using the system status menu code (without a disk in), OPEN, SETUP, STOP, STEP, MENU, if the firmware version matches any of the above, then enter the following code. Power on with no disk, then press SETUP, STEP, TITLE, PREV., then power the unit off. The only way to know if this has made the player Video Freindly is to try it out by connecting to a video and recording,but this method worked for me. Good Luck! PS Be VERY careful if updating your players firmware, a friend of mine tried it, did it wrong and now he’s got a DEAD machine. | |||
