yep that works i'm in region 2 country and I had to turn off and then on the player to watch a reg 1 disc (otherwise it says no disc) | |||

Have verified that this remote hack DOES work for the LVD2002: Using the remote: ----------------- 1. Open the DVD player tray. 2. Press 2-9-6-0 to get to the Region menu. 3. Select the Region code you want (0 is universal). 4. Select Macrovision ON or OFF. 5. Exit the Region menu. | |||
