This hack is from a UK website, and references the LG model number RC-6800. It works perfectly on the KBR 446; the menu even congratulates you when you complete the directions on making it an all-region machine. To convert this player to Multi-Region 1. Press the Setup button on your remote control 2. Select the Lock option from the setup menu 3. Slide open the cover and press the Lock button on your remote control 4. Press the 0 button on your remote control 5. Press the 0 button on your remote control 6. Press the 0 button on your remote control 7. Press the 0 button on your remote control 8. Press the 0 button on your remote control 9. Press the 0 button on your remote control 10. Press the 1 button on your remote control for region 1, the 2 button for region 2, and so on, or the 0 button for multi-region playback 11. Press the Enter button on your remote control 12. This is a Multi-Region Hack For the LG Model LGXBR446 DVD Player-Recorder/VCR Combo Tested by me and it Works I bought this region 1 dvd player here in the US After the Hack it was able play region 4 dvds I imported from Australia To convert this player to Multi-Region First place the Other Region Dvd in the Player Then the player will say Incorrect region code. Can’t play back and eject the dvd. When this happens leave the dvd in the tray and follow theses steps 1. Press the Setup button on your remote control 2. Highlight the Lock option from the setup menu 3. Slide open the cover and press the Lock button on your remote control this will Lock your dvd player 4. Then Press the 0 button on your remote control 7 times 5. The player will then say Congratulations! Player(Loader)Region free![Yes] Then Press Enter on your remote control 6. Then press the Setup button then the Open/Close button on your remote control and the dvd will start to play 7. Repeat step 3 to Unlock the player | |||
