Mentioned above did not work for me, however, this one posted by Mattias Peterss, March 01 2007 did!: 1. Create a non-empty file called LG36868.IMG (for example using a text editor, then change the name to LG36868.IMG ) 2. Then You have to burn the LG36868.IMG file to a blank CD. 3. Insert the CD in your DVD Playerafter finish burning the CD. Press Play. 4. Then the region management menu will be shown. 5 If you input '0' and press 'pause key' by Remote Control, you will have a region-free DVD player! | |||

1. Turn on the player. Make sure there is no disc inside - it should display a "No Disc" message. 2. Press PAUSE 314159; you'll have "code" on display. 3. Press the number of the region code you want - press 0 (zero) if you want it to be region free. 4. Press PAUSE to confirm. | |||
