	I was able to change the region from region 2 to region 0 following the instructions on the following page: http://www.lgregionfree.mfbiz.com Select DVD Recorder --> RH278H and just follow the instructions that are listed in option 3. This hack will probably work with other RH*** models

	Ok, hunted high and low for hacks and here it is... THIS IS *NOT* FIRMWARE UPDATE!!! It loads a bit of code to open the region menu ... You need to down the file from this page http://www.lgregionfree.mfbiz.com/#/instructions/4525089618 ( its under option 3 is a download this file button. ) 1. EXTRACT the files that are inside the .ZIP file 2. Use your CD Creating Software to Create a CD (Nero, Toast etc..) 3. Name the CD CODEFREE 4. The CD must be laid out with the following Folder and File Structure RMTM0000 SCARLET KPJC19_1.DVD 5. Create the CD 6. Insert the CD into the DVD Recorder 7. Wait for the Region menu to pop up. (couple seconds after reading the disc.) 8. Select "0" as Region Free, (its all on screen!) 9. RESTART the Player., your done.
