As the 7x0 handset hack doesn't work on some RH188HS machines, the way to make it region free is to follow this link: http://lgregionfree.tripod.com/2005/menu1.htm Scroll to the bottom and download the file you get by clicking the NEW RH1000 SERIES HACK link. Extract the zipped files and burn the RMTM0000 file to a CD, making sure that it is a one time DAO (Closed) burn. Pop it in the player, press Home, then select Movie and Disc. A menu appears saying the current region, plus new region. Press 0 for all regions and Enter to finish. The disc ejects and the job is done. | |||
