I can confirm this also works for the LG RH1999H. Press 0 eight times on the lock symbol in the 'setup' menu. | |||

This hack worked on my new Lg RH2T160-I wanted to let others know: Press Home on remote. Go to setup Scroll down list to highlight lock icon Press 0 seven times You will get a message saying "Congratulations Region Change Free [Yes]" Press enter on remote. DVD player now is region free. | |||
