	1/ Power on. 2/ Open tray with no disc. 3/ Press "Home" button on the remote. 4/ Screen shows "Set Up" & "Start", then press "Enter". 5/ Highlight the "Lock" icon, but DO NOT enter/select. 6/ Press "0" seven times. 7/ Screen says: Congratulations. Player(Loader) Region Free? OK. 8/ Press "Enter", then press "Return" buttons. 9/ Power off, wait for a few seconds, then power on again.

	I tried pressing 0 seven times no good. I used the hack for the LG DR1F9H and this worked. I notice that the only difference bewteen these 2 DVD recorders apart from the model number is the color. REGION CODE HACK INFORMATION HERE: http://lgregionfree.tripod.com/2005/menu1.htm You will need: Nero Burning ROM, or similar A blank CD-R WinZip or WinRAR or IZark to decompress the .zip Go to the site, scroll down to the photo with '6000' -- this is a downloadable .zip. Download it to your desktop. The .txt file included says this: "1) Unzip the folders and files to the hard drive in exactly the same order. 2) Burn the folder "RMT000" (including sub files and/or folders) to a blank CDR 3) Make sure you set; 'close' disc and session 4) Make sure you burn the disc in ISO mode (not joliet) Insert the disc in the player and follow the screen instructions LGRegionfree@yahoo.co.uk" Believe me, it works. I have tried Region 2 and Region 4 DVDs without problem.

	The region hack for LG LRA 760 is no longer in http://lgregionfree.tripod.com/2005/menu1.htm It can be download from: http://aiwaownersnetwork.tripod.com/pages/lg/5000_series_firmware.html The RMTM0000folder works for my LRA 760 and now I can play DVD from all regions.
