How to make this DVD to Multizone: Turn on the DVD with the "POWER" button with no disc The title "No Disc" will apear Press this buttons on the remote in the next order : "Pause", 3, 1, 4, 1, 5, 9. Enable S/VCD Hack (Note: I noticed the DVD region hack was the same as the 595NWQ, so I tried that, and it worked) 1. POWER on without a disc 2. Press PAUSE 3. Press: 1, 4, 7, 2 The PROM OPTION editing menu will appear. The top line is the address currently being edited and the value in that address. (You can see all 8 values in the at the bottom. I had the values 49 4C 00 EE 12 55 00 00 at first. We will edit this.) 4. Press UP 3 times (to get to address 4) 5. Press PROGRAM, 6, PROGRAM, 5 (which will change the value to be FE. Top line will now be: 04 FE) 6. Press ENTER (the new value will be saved - you can see it in the line at the bottom.) 7. Press UP 3 times (to get to address 7) 8. Press PROGRAM, 6, PROGRAM, 7 (which will change the value to be FE. Top line will no be: 07 FE) 9. Press ENTER (the new PROM value will be saved. You can see the change in the bottom line.) 10. Power off and power on the device. Note: Steps 4-6 are for enabling VCD, steps 7-9 is for enabling SVCD. | |||
