Make sure there's no disc in tray. Open tray. Press ENTER. Press 0-0-0-0. Press Pause. Turn Off. Wait five seconds. Turn on. Please note that leaving the disc tray open for an extended period of time (in my case, overnight) will cause the player to revert to original region state. But hack can easily be performed again. | |||

Couldn't get this first crack to work. Found this one which did. Open Tray. Press '0' 7 times. Region Free message comes up. Press Enter to select 'Yes' and the machine is now Region Free. | |||

Wait five seconds. Turn on. Repeating this process again will turn on the preset region for the recorder | |||
