Just make the same CD-R as here: https://www.videohelp.com/dvdhacks/lg-bp440/12388 I'll repost it with a lil modification and more explanation here: 1) Create a folder (e.g. on your desktop): Violet0000 2) Inside /Violet0000 create a subfolder: Rubicon 3) Download the MontBlanc.txt file here: https://www.avforums.com/attachments/montblanc-txt.873684/ 4) Save it in the Rubicon folder during downloading as a .dvd file called MontBlanc.dvd (note: DO NOT save it as a text file. Change the file extension. If you cannot see the file extension, select "All File Types" on the extensions tab of the download window) 4.5) Your folder stucture should be like this: /Violet0000/Rubicon/MontBlanc.dvd 5) Put your CD-R into the disk drive. Choose "use as CD/DVD etc." on Windows. Delete the "desktop" folder in the CDs folder which is made automatically. 6) Drag and drop the Violet0000 folder from your e.g. Desktop (Violet0000/Rubicon/MontBlanc.dvd) to your CDs directory and burn it (finalized) by choosing the option at the top of Windows Explorer. (This folder should be the only thing on the CD-R) 7) Insert the CDR into your player. A black menu screen with blue outlines will appear with the current region code and a place to select a new region code. Select 0 for universal region and save it by clicking Pause (it will kick you back to your menu). *! 8) Check if it's saved by opening and closing tray again. *! Because the Magic Remote has no numbers, you have to download "LG AV Remote" and connect both your mobile device and the BDP to the same network and type 0 with the app's number interface and press Pause with the app at the end to save it. (Using a PC keyboard to type 0 and then press Pause on your magic remote won't save it. Either LG AV Remote or have luck by trying it with a different LG remote that would work with your BDP.) | |||
