This machine responds to the popular "MontBlanc" technique. 1. Download HxD from internet. 2. Create a blank file and open it n HxD. 3. Write four bytes "17 17 8C 00", and save the file with the name MontBlanc.DVD (case sensitive). 4. Create a folder with the name VIOLET0000 and a subfolder called RUBICON. 5. Put MontBlanc.DVD file inside RUBICON folder. 6. Burn a CD (not a DVD) with Nero or Imgburn with the following directory structure: \VIOLET0000\RUBICON\MontBlanc.DVD Note: The CD must be in ISO mode 1 format with ISO 9660 + joliet filesystem 7. Power on the player, open disc tray, insert the CD and close it. 8. It must open a menu where you can reset the DVD region. Select 0 for region free, and then press pause button to save and exit. 9.
