It's the same hack as the LG DVD-6194 1)Unpack the RMTM0000.sit (http://mypage.bluewin.ch/a-z/chaos-kitties/downloads/RMTM0000.sit) with "Alladin StuffIt Expander" for example 2)Burn the 4 byte file with the structure directory to a CD-R or CD-RW. 3)Insert the CD in the player 4)Push "0" and "pause". 5)Turned the player off ... and it's Region Free!! | |||

In answer as to how to apply the eeprom code, switch the dvd on with no disc, press pause and then press 1 4 7 2 3. then just enter the eeprom code (hold down 6 to get the letter F & 5 to get the letter E)note you navigate with the pr/ch buttons and have to press ok to enter each value. When complete press pause and turn the player off. Did it on mine and plays vcds no problem | |||
