SVCD Hack 1- Power up the dvd with no disc 2- Press pause and then pres 1 4 7 2 3- Press right arrow until appears on the display 07 60 (the characters 60 may be different, 07 are the most important!!!) 4- Hold pressed the 6 on the remote control until the 6 change to F 5- Press the right arrow once 6- Hold pressed the 5 on the remote control until the 0 change to E 7- Now in the display appears the number 07 FE (if don't repeat the sequence!!!) 8- Press pause 9- Turn off the player 10-Enjoy with your SVCD!!! | |||

Alex, the correct prom (with VCD and SVCD hack correctly installed) should be: 55 53 00 FE 16 55 FE FF You should easily put these values with your remote control (use the arrows for moving, the numbers, and hold long the 6 for the F and hold long the 5 for the E). Hope this help. | |||

Bonjour, comme promis, voici le lien pour télécharger le fichier ISO a graver : http://iimhotepp.free.fr/FreeZoneLG6053.exe 1 - décompressez le fichier téléchargé. 2 - gravez le sur un CDR ou CDRW, en mode ISO9660, mode 1. (ne pas graver avec Direct CD!) 3 - inserez le CD dans le lecteur LG6053, attendez que le menu apparaisse. 4 - Tapez 0 pour dézoner le lecteur. 5 - Appuyez Pause pour sortir du menu. 6 - Eteignez le lecteur, patientez quelques secondes. 7 - Rallumez le lecteur, en utilisant la touche Eject, pour ejecter le CD. 8 - le lecteur est dézoné. I changed the region to region free by downloading this file from http://www.area450.co.uk/lg5083hack.htm and burning it with Nero as a data disc 1. Burn the folder 'RMTM0000' to a CD-R making sure that the directories stay in order. 2. Insert the disk to your player 3. Select desired region (0 for all regions)and then press pause | |||

I tried the hack using the files of the folder http://mypage.bluewin.ch/a-z/chaos-kitties/downloads/RMTM0000.sit (compressed with StuffIt). Wiritng the folder into a cd-r/rw and loaded into the player will display a screen.By this screen you can select the preferred region code (0 for region free) and pressing the pause buttone on the remote control you will save the option. Works fine. (Sorry for this bad english) | |||
