VCD ENABLE IN LG 5183 1. POWER ON DVD (NO DISC) 2. PRESS PAUSE IN REMOTE 3. PRES NUMBER 1 4 7 2 4. PRESS THE UP ARROW THREE TIMES (the characters 04 55 should appear on the display) [This number may be different depending on the configuration of your specific model - don't worry] 5. Press "CLEAR", "6", "CLEAR", "5" (the characters 04 FE should now be displayed) CLEAR + 1 -> A PROGRAM + 1 -> 1 CLEAR + 2 -> B PROGRAM + 2 -> 2 CLEAR + 3 -> C PROGRAM + 3 -> 3 CLEAR + 4 -> D PROGRAM + 4 -> 4 CLEAR + 5 -> E PROGRAM + 5 -> 5 CLEAR + 6 -> F PROGRAM + 6 -> 6 ETC. 6. None of the hacks above tells exactly what you actually do when you apply it. The prom value consists of eigth two digit values. Changing value number four to FE enables VCD playback. Changing value number six to FE enables SVCD playback. | |||
