No need for a region code hack! This unit is region free! It has also a selectable PAL/NTSC output as well as 110~240 V power input. Also sold under the Durabrand DVD1002 name at Walmart. | |||

I bought 3 of these under the Durabrand DVD1002 name, they where bought in July 2006 but manufactured in May 2006. It depends on when in May it manufactured as to which hack will work. Try both listed here. Good Luck switch on. open lid. press STOP on remote. enter code 2379 on remote. region code list will appear on screen, using the UP/DOWN buttons on remote select required region (0 is multi-region). press OK on remote. close lid. press STANDBY on player. ALL DONE!. PLEASE NOTE....when selecting your region you will need to be quick as the info on screen will only display for a few seconds if no buttons are pressed. ----------------------------------------------------------- 1.
