No disk in tray, push 16719 on your remote. Region code is shown on the screen (1). Push OK to scroll. Region code 0 is for region-free. Press EXIT.

Dinko I'm followed your procedures and Still didn't work for the KOSS-KS4110. I power up the DVD and it give me "No Disc". I entered the 16719 on the remote and Still give me "No Disc". What's next Guru?

Koss KS4110 - This hack worked perfect. The numbers on the remote are tiny, so be careful. :) Turn on unit: (tray closed) "No Disk" appears on lower left enter 16719 on your remote Region code is shown on top of screen (1). Push "OK" on remote, to scroll regions 2,3,4,5,6,0. Region code 0 is for region-free. Press "EXIT" on remote This did not solve the "BAD DISK" error on DVD+R and loading hang up on DVD+RW (that never work) However one day the same disks will work, the next it will be "BAD DISK" At least you are now region free.

To: ChineseSportsBar. I highly recommend KS4125. It works perfect. I haven’t got any problem. I use DVD+R and DVD-R. KS410 is very basic.

Doesn't work. Open or closed tray makes no difference. After entering 16719 nothing happens....no region code shows anywhere on-screen, so can't scroll through regions.
