The hack is the same as KS3123-2:- Turn on dvd -wait for the menu -press 16719, Hidden Config Menu will show -press ok on "Configuration",select new region(1-6),0-allregion Surprisingly good picture/sound quality. Sold in Costco Canada. | |||

I tried the region code hack posted by Wallace on my KS3120-2. It worked great except that when I did it it went straight to the region code setting, I didn't get any sort of config menu. As well, it only gave me 5 seconds to enter the new region code before the player went back to normal mode. I didn't catch it in the first 5 seconds but the second time I was ready and it worked no problem. Just thought I'd mention these little discrepancies. | |||

Ok, dont think this can really be called a 'hack' per se, but I know that everyone has a specific complaint about this DVD player and I've come up with a workaround To stop the Auto-Subtitle function for the DVD player, Set the subtitle language in the menu to Swedish. the subtitles will no longer show up. however they will still show up if you select them from the DVD menu Enjoy | |||
