I just purchased this Kosch DV-X721 at Future Shop for C$54.99 plus taxes. Without any modifications, it played Region 1 disks, Region 2 PAL disks (UK), and Region 2 NTSC disks (Japan). Picture quality appears to be quite good. I do not know if the machine comes with Macrovision on or off. | |||
