You cannot make region changes on recently manufactured JVC XV-N680 DVD players using commands from the remote control. JVC didn't change the model number, but the new players sold in the USA (and probably elsewhere) are tied to a specific region in the hardware or firmware. | |||

Region 1 player JVC XV-N680B built January 2011. Works with CD region hack for JVC XV-N670B, then set region to 0 with remote. | |||
