Recieved this from one of the repair centers: When DVD player does not recognize disk after power surge or when whenever, do the following: 1. Ensure "No Disk" is showing on display 2. Hold down the "on screen" and "title" buttons at the same time. 3. Unplug and then replug the unit. 4. The display will read " Test JC3 or JC2" 5. Press "Enter" on center navigation button 6. "Resume" light will come on 7. Press power off then on again. After that everything should be back to normal. This has worked twice for me and did not once. | |||
