To make this player region free follow LG 5000 series Firmware fix. Burn file to a CD-R and put in the player. Wait for a message that says select region and chage to "0" for all regions. | |||

Follow the instructions found in the following web site: http://aiwaownersnetwork.tripod.com/pages/lg/5000_series_firmware.html Click on LGReg Free's zip File. Save the file LG5000. Extract it with winzip. Burn folder RMTM0000 to a CD-R and put in the player. Wait for a message that says select region and change to "0" for all regions. I tested and it worked!!! | |||
