This Model may NOT need to be hacked. I tried to use the old code (1) Remove disk (if any) from the player 2) Turn the player off 3) Turn the player on 4) Open tray 5) On remote press 9-7-3-5 6) A box should appear on the screen with a region number inside (1 for players sold in USA) 7) Use Up and Down arrow keys on the remote to select desired region (0 means region free) 8) Press Enter on the remote. Tray should close. 9) Enjoy for the Insignia NS-DVD1 and nothing happened. However when I played Disks from Russia (Region 5) they worked. I just bought the player from Best buy for $29.00. thanks | |||
