This region code hack was originaly posted by Albert Kpoor, December 19 2006 but works on this model too (minor changes to the hack as follows): 1. Open Disc Tray 2. Press "set-up" button 3. Press "8888" (or until region menu apears) 4. Press "Enter" button on remote. 6. Using the "Enter" button change Region Code to "9" 7. Press "set-up" button 8. Your Player is now region free 9.
