Go to setup. Navigate to the right until you get the firmwhere screen (the only place you can enter a number without changing channels) Enter 1101 Press up arrow When you see the region code, use the arrows until it says "none" Press enter. Press setup again. Now it's region free. Too bad recent Disney DVD's (I have a ton) won't play AT ALL! Some protection is not seen. I wish there were a fix for that! I don't do pirated DVD's and I can't play the real ones on this recorder! Oh, and it doesn't record well either. | |||
