The above hack did eventually work on my 301R, after I had opened and closed the disc draw via the player and entered the other commands very fast via the remote. A "message region free" was displayed but I have not yet confirmed with a non Europe region DVD. | |||

Many thanks! I can confirm this worked on my Goodmans GDVD301RP (I don't know what the difference between the R and RP models are?) I started with the machine in standby, powered it up from the front panel and followed the instructions above. Worked first time! Paul | |||
