The model name is incorrect, the correct model name is DX-24LD230A12 (The zero is missing) No real region hack known yet, but if you're really desperate to play a disc, I've found there's a race condition in the firmware. If you mash number buttons on the remote while the disc is loading, you can get it to skip to a chapter and start playing before the lockout engages, but then you get the "Wrong Region" message stuck on the screen and you have no further control over the playback. You can get into the service menu with the sequence: [Input] [1] [9] [9] [9] (Switch to an input other than DVD first, it won't work from DVD mode) Unfortunately I see no sign of a way to change the DVD region using service mode. Also for what its worth, the true manufacturer is a company called XOCECO. | |||
