Same as the hack posted May 2003, however, the code is not under preferences. Instead, after you press next: Go to version, press the right arrow key to move cursor to the number. Press the down arrow key until the number is 0. Exit and play your DVD! Note: I bought my DVD player in August 2003 in a Walmart store in Germany and this hack worked for me. | |||

The Durabrand/Venturer STS75E has the same DVD player as the Venturer STS21AAS-10. Here's the remote hacks I've tested and found to work: Region free hack: Open the tray Press 8, 1, 3, 2 and 8 The region menu will appear, then press enter until region 9 is selected and press Play The unit will now be multi region. VCD playback: To play VCDs, open the tray, press 0, 0, 0, 1, and press play. | |||

This player is the same than Norcent DP300, so you can upgrade firmware (in most of the cases) of your durabrand DP305 with the firmware of a norcent DP300. For that, go on this page : http://www.nerd-out.com/darrenk/Norcent_DP300/norcent_dp-300.htm and read CAREFULLY all the page (you have to open your player to check which eeprom version you got) then you will be able (in some cases maybe not) to make your player regionfree AND macrovisionfree ! Moreover, there is a possibility to change the language to spanish or french. | |||
