I searched what seemed like every DVD hack resource, but couldn't find a code for the DV-5003. However I was able to figure it out by adapting different procedures given for other Dayteks: Enter Setup menu, type 9735 on the remote. The bar on top should now show the player region; use the L/R cursor buttons to change it from 1-6, and 255 seems to be equal to 0. Press Setup again to confirm, then exit. If you use the U/D cursors you get a couple of other options to change (3000/3001 and 6000/6004/6002/6005), but I don't know enough about DVD firmware to understand what those do. I was able to play Region 0, 1, and 2 discs following this. | |||
