The hack for the 3100N works for the 8100N also. I bought one today from Sears ($39.00 with a $10.00 mail in rebate). I bought it because it is suppose to play VCD's and SVCD's also. Hooked it up and tried the Region Free hack posted for the 3100N. Worked fine. To summarize.... With the tray open press 1 then 3 then 7 then 9 then press 1-6 or "0" for region free. | |||
