the hack underneath works for Cyberhome DVD 462. you must close tray with no disk in it, if this fails to work you have outdated firmware. you can upgrade the firmware (I had to) from the cyberhome site I believe www.cyberhome.de and follow instructions given there. This region hack works for the following Cyberhome DVD players: Cyberhome DVD-Player CH-DVD 452 ZE Cyberhome DVD-Player CH-DVD 462 ZE Cyberhome DVD-Player CH-DVD 401 ZE procedure: ============ -Make sure there is no disc in the player and CLOSE the tray (it will not work with open tray!) -Push the "Menu/PBC" button on the remote, followed by pressing 1 and 9 -A secret menu appears where you can set the region to 1 to 5. Region 0 is for region free! The player is now region free | |||

Push "pbc" the "function not allowed" (the little circle with a line across) symbol will flash on your screen, ignore this and then Push "1" and Push "9" Now you are in the menu. Push "Enter" till die Code is "0" it should be mentioned that you need to have the tray closed with no disc in it. | |||
