This is for the Curtis 1045, not the 1043 - who knows, it may work for both. The Curtis 1045 is the same as the Equinox 1045E: Turn power on, Open Tray, Using the Remote Control and type "1111", The Region Code should appear on screen now, Using the "ENTER" button and select "9" as Region-Free Code, Press "Set Up" twice and finish the process. | |||
