Do not have a DVD in the player. Switch it on, press Menu 1,6,7 A notice will appear saying region code. Enter 1 for US, 2 for Europe etc.... To play a US DVD in colour, Press Menu, TV Aspect, change the AUTO selection to the third item in the list. Play the DVD!! | |||

Press menu button on your remote control, press the 1 button on your remote control, press 6 on your remote control & press 7 on your remote control. Press 1 for region 1, 2 for region 2 and so on or press mute for all regions. | |||

Hi Hack to enable you to see the firmware version installed. Press setup or menu (depending on handset) once display appears press setup or menu again. You now have firmware version.
