I just discovered that the code breaker for the coby DVD 283 also works for the coby tf-dvd 7008 1. Open DVD Tray 2. Press the “Menu” button 3. Press 8888 4. Press the “Display” button 5. Region Code Number shows up. Use the numeric keypad to select your region code number (0 – 6). 6. Press the “Setup” button to exit. | |||

I can verify the hack, thanks! One important detail though: Do not mind the warning message "Not allowed this time". You will not see anything happening until you press the Display/Setup button, see sequence below. I bought mine from Brandsmart in Florida and the player is labeled Coby V-ZON TFDVD7008. This unit may have slightly different remote. I did the hack like this: 1. Turn power on. 2. Open DVD Tray. No need to insert DVD. Leave tray open. 3. Press the “Menu” button on remote. 4. Press 8888 on remote. 5. Press the “Display/Setup” button 6. Region Code Menu shows up. Use the numeric keypad to select your region code number (0 – 6, Zero for all regions). 7.
