I can personally confirm this region code havk posted above. My friend used this exact hack on his Coby TF-DVD5000 and made it region free. This hack works! | |||

My coby dvd5000 died (most likely the ribbon cable to the laser head). I just acquired a second of the same model, and the hack worked fine the second time too! :-) | |||
