Hello All, For me this Hack works fine. I bought this player just this evening from J&R was able to hack it. With the dvd tray closed an no disc: 1- press "menu" 2- press "1" , press "9" < a system menu appears showing the region setting > 3- highligh the region line ,press "play" to select and press "0" to change. 4- press "play" againg to save. 5- enjoy :) | |||

My wife brought this player from work yesterday (she won a contest and the player was a prize). I connected it to my NTSC TV using RCA cables and tried to play a PAL dvd. I was surprised that the movie started right away - no hack was needed. After that I put a NTSC dvd into it and again no problem playing it. Then I tried the PAL dvd one more time and again the movie started automatically. | |||
