	1.Turn on your DVD player 2.Open disc tray either using the EJECT button on the Player or the OPEN button on the remote 3.Press 2812 4.A menu should pop up, press ENTER until 9 appears 5.Your DVD player is now region-free (you can play any countries DVD's)

	Hi I just bought a coby dvd-215 from fry's and the hack works fine, thank you! Follow the step below: 1.Power on and Open tray 2.Press 2, 8, 1, 2 3.Select region by pressing "PLAY/ENTER" button on remote until 9 comes out. 4.enjoy your region free DVD player

	Hello! Help! Guys, I just bought two Coby-215 DVD players from Fry’s electronics $34 each planning to ship them to East Europe to relatives, but Non of the above hacks was working. I even tried to set it to specific region only (5) in my case to play region 5 Pal DVD, but I get “Bad Disc” error message. I was rebooting the player also after each hack performed. Setting to 9 works for region 1 only, does not play region 5. Any Idea? Thanks.

	None of hacks mentioned are working. I have just bought this from fry's. After opening tray, when i press menu button,I get Invalid key on screen, when i press 2 8 1 2, I don't see any menu. It looks like that company might have changed some firmware etc and now all above hacks stopped working. Is there any other method available ? Thanks Sanjay

	The hacks posted do not work anymore. The firmware is fixed to work for region one only. I picked one from Fry's for $25.00. Open the tray, press key 2, you see "Invalid Key" on the screen. I am gonna return it.
