I was given this handset hack when I bought the DVD player, from the vendor. I've had the DVD player for a year and a half now and have had no trouble with using the hack. The quality stays the same with no colour loss or rolling and it can prefprmed countless times with no adverse effects. 1. input 2812 when the loader tray is open, the region number will appear on the screen in a very clear table. 2. Select the required region code by pressing the enter button, once the region is selected, load your disc and it will play. 3. The DVD player will stay at the selected region until it is further changed. | |||

Tried the hack given with no success. Was able to change region code but picture rolling continuously. | |||
