To convert Bose 3-2-1 GS Series 2 DVD system to Multi-Region playback 1. Press the Right button on your remote control 2. Press the Up button on your remote control 3. Press the Shuffle button on your remote control 4. Press the Stop button on your remote control 5. Press the Mute button on your remote control 6. The disc tray should eject twice to confirm the region change 7. Press the Standby button on your remote control to power off your machine 8. After one minute, press the Standby button on your remote control to power on your machine To set a specific region on Bose 3-2-1 GS Series 2, after you <B>have applied the above hack</B>. 1. Press the Stop button on your remote control 2. Press the Shuffle button on your remote control 3. Press the 1 button on your remote control for region 1, the 2 for region 2, and so on 4. Press the Enter button on your remote control NB: This player supports resuming, and may take you back to the RCE region map screen after performing the above hack. Press the Stop button on your remote control twice, or if this is prohibited you may be required to insert 10 different discs to clear the resume buffer, or power off your player for a minute and perform the above procedure with a non-RCE disc in the machine. Hmm...try this 1. Put in Wrong region disk 2. Wait for "Wrong disk message" 3. press on the remote the Right button, then Up button, then Shuffle button, then Stop button, then leave the Mute button pressed until the tray ejects and goes back in. Try this. Press all the buttons slow. please post result. | |||

This hack WORKS for Bose 321 GSX! 1. Put in Wrong region disk 2. Wait for "Wrong disk message" 3. Press on the remote - Right button - Up button - Shuffle button - Stop button - Hold the Mute button pressed until tray ejects and goes back in Now Region free Thanks to 'gordong11'.....it works :) (Note don't forget to change the video displayed from PAL to NTSC or v.v. to get the best quality picture) | |||

Note, <b>you must have a wrong region disk in the player</b> otherwise this hack doesn't work. Insert the wrong region disk and wait for the wrong region message before using the remote control key sequence mentioned above. It worked great for me. Ignore the link to the Yahoo forum, it's just spam...you have to pay to join. No need for firmware upgrade for this hack. | |||

I tried the gordong11 hack sequence on my GS Series II system and couldn't get it to work. I also tried the following sequence I got from another site: - Insert wrong region disc and wait for message - press on remote 9 then 4 then shuffle then stop then mute (and hold) This didn't work either ! | |||
