This hack is the same for the Axion 16-3903 and the 16-3906 DVD/TV combo player, taken from this site. Text taken from Sergio Arizpe, so, thank him. 1) Make sure no disc is inserted 2) Press Setup on the remote Control and navigate to the preferences page, 3) Using the Remote Control very near from the IR receiver in the front of the player, enter 9653 and a service page will appear with a region code menu, 4) Use Up/Down buttons on the remote to change region Codes, 5) Set to 0 (zero) for multi-region, by highlighting the 0 (zero) 6) Hit the <set-up> button to exit from the service page. My player states on the box that its date of manufacture was October 2005, however the service page states September 2005. Not sure if that's of any use to anybody, but here is the procedure in a more understanding way: 1) Remove any disk from the player and power it on. 2) Press "SETUP" on the remote control. 3) Press the Forward/Right key on the remote three times to go to the preferences page. 4) Enter 9653 on the remote control. 5) The service page comes up showing model number, date of manufacture, time of manufacture and region code. 6) Press the Up/Down buttons on the remote to change the region to "0". 7) Press "SETUP" on the remote control. 8) Enjoy your region-free player !!! Your remote does not have to be very near the player during this procedure. | |||
